Finding/Changing the name of an iOS device

Applies to iOS 10.0.0 and later
1) Open the Settings app, then go to General > About
2) Next to "Name", look for a line of light grey text. This is the name of your device (in this example, iPad).
3) To change the device's name, tap on the greyed-out portion of the Name bar, then type a new name with the on-screen keyboard.
