Updating your Windows 10 OS
1) From the Start Bar, type 'Updates', and select the 'Check for updates - System settings' option.
2) Select Check for updates, and wait for the device to detect any updates. This may take up to a minute.
3) You may receive an error when trying to retrieve updates. Alternatively, your device may tell you that you that it cannot detect any updates, when you know that there are available updates. In these cases, select the 'Check online for updates from Microsoft Update' link, and allow your device to search online for updates. This requires an internet connection, and may also take a couple of minutes.
