Check/update your Google Chrome version

1. In a Google Chrome window, open the three-dots menu, and select Settings.

2. From the Settings page navigation pane, select the About Chrome tab.

3. If your Chrome is not updated, entering this screen may trigger an automatic update. If there is an update available and it does not start automatically, look for a box labelled Update under the Google Chrome header (2). Whilst updating, Chrome displays your current version (1).

4. After Chrome has completed its update, click 'Relaunch'. This will close all current Chrome tabs and windows, and then immediately restore them. Any Incognito tabs will not be reopened.

5. After relaunching Chrome, returning to the 'About Chrome' settings screen will display the updated current version of Chrome, along with confirmation that it is up-to-date.
